Working Toward a Solution

Like the air we breathe, we take water for granted. It’s always there – clean, accessible and ready on a moment’s notice for hundreds of daily uses from drinking to bathing, washing clothes to preparing meals and playing in the sprinkler on a hot day.

Citizen questions and concerns have been raised about the condition of The Town of Denmark’s water supply. Like dozens of small communities across the nation, Denmark is wrestling with these questions and working toward solutions. The answer lies in acknowledging that, after nearly a century, our water system is aging and deteriorating. It is experiencing all the problems that one expects from equipment that has surpassed its life expectancy.

Modernization is the Answer

While our water supply is safe, our system is old. To restore public confidence, we need a new water system with the latest technology, new piping, state-of-the-art pumps and fresh new tanks. In short, Denmark needs a 21st Century upgrade to deliver the world’s oldest and most crucial commodity – water.

WE ARE WORKING TOWARD THAT GOAL.
